Accessible staterooms are held for people with disabilities until all other non-accessible staterooms in that category are reserved. Upon reserving an accessible stateroom, we require our guests acknowledge the need for the accessible stateroom by completing a Guest Special Needs Form.
If a guest is booked in an accessible stateroom and they do not have a mobility disability or other disability that requires the use of the features that are provided in the accessible stateroom, they may be moved at any time to a non-accessible stateroom in order to accommodate a guest with a disability.
Please note Celebrity investigates and takes action on potential misuse of accessible staterooms where there is good cause to believe that such staterooms have been booked fraudulently.

If requested in advance, Celebrity can arrange for accessible transportation to transfer guests between the airport and the pier. This service is offered at no extra charge to our air/sea guests or those who have purchased cruise-only transfers. Accessible transportation may be limited or not available outside the U.S. See your travel agent or contact us for details.
Extra Assistance at the Pier
Celebrity Cruises offers boarding and departure assistance with wheelchairs to guests with mobility disabilities. Request assistance once you arrive at the pier or contact us prior to your cruise so that we may prioritize your assistance to go onboard. During peak times there may be a wait for assistance.
While many ports provide easy access for wheelchairs and scooters, however due to various conditions: steepness of the gangway, tendering, weather, tidal and sea conditions, and shore-side facilities, guests using assistive devices may be precluded from getting on or off the ship.
We will make reasonable efforts to assist our guests, but for safety reasons, our staff is not permitted to lift guests or equipment. Assistance with manual wheelchairs, walkers, canes, etc. will be provided.
Traveling from Ship to Shore
Guests with disabilities should be able to experience all aspects of a cruise operation available to guests without disabilities. Certain tenders may not be accessible to individuals using motorized wheelchairs or mobility scooters, or the status of the tendering process at a particular port under certain weather, sea, swell, current and/or tide conditions may prove difficult for a safe transfer to take place. In each case, it will be the decision of the ship officer to determine, based on their evaluation of safety issues for our guests and crew, whether or not a guest with a mobility disability may board a tender. Prior to boarding the tender, the guest should speak to the staff, and advise whether the guest wants or needs assistance and the method of assistance the guest prefers so Celebrity Cruises can enable the guest with a disability to embark and disembark the tender in a safe manner.
On Solstice class ships there is an accessible route to the tender platform. Currently, on Millennium class ships, there are exterior stairs with 10 steps to the tender platform. While our staff will provide limited assistance, they are not permitted to lift and carry guests. Motorized wheelchairs and mobility scooters cannot be taken on tenders, unless roll-on capability is available.

Exciting & Accessible Shore Excursions
Exhilarating ports of call calling your name? Have trouble getting around easily? No problem. Celebrity has added many new customized excursions that require less strenuous activity for groups of any size. Or, maybe you're looking for a completely wheelchair-accessible excursion. Easy tours are available for certain destinations only. They can be booked by sending us an email no later than 10 business days ahead of your planned cruise.
Or, we can also arrange a private accessible tour for you. Simply review our Celebrity’s Accessible Tour Guidelines and send us an email no later than 21 days prior to your sail date. We'll respond with details and a price. Please refer to our Accessible FAQ's for further information.

If you would like to have a wheelchair during the cruise, Celebrity has a limited supply of wheelchairs available on their ships. Please contact the Access Department if you would like to make a reservation for a wheelchair. If you want to ensure you will have a wheelchair or scooter onboard, you are welcome to bring your own or rent one from of the companies below who will deliver it your stateroom on the ship:

You may bring and use wheelchairs, mobility scooters and other assistive devices onboard our ships. Due to safety regulations, Segways may not be used onboard.
Assistive devices including mobility scooters must be stored and recharged in your stateroom so fire doors, corridors and elevator lobbies are kept clear for emergency evacuation. When parked throughout the ship, they must be parked out of the way to allow safe and easy access by other guests and crewmembers.
Assistive devices should fit through a standard stateroom entry doorway which is at least 23 inches wide. We offer accessible staterooms which have wider doors which are at least 32 inches wide and may accommodate larger devices. If you have an assistive device larger than 32 inches wide, please contact our Access Department for assistance.
Note: Crewmembers are not permitted to lift assistive devices.
Every ship in the Celebrity fleet was designed with your every need in mind. You'll find wide, spacious corridors, to allow 180° turns for wheelchairs. Most decks are accessible through automatic doors, and all public rooms feature entrances with gradual inclines.
