First Glimpse
Viking Sun, one of the newest ships in the Viking Cruises fleet, is the first in its Europe-oriented vessels to offer (some) staterooms with French windows that open, as well as in-cabin Internet access. Otherwise, the ship features the expected river ship amenities, such as a restaurant, lounge, bar, sun deck and library. All cabins have private bathrooms with shower. Viking Sun sails a 12-night Antwerp to Basel itinerary along the Rhine River, with calls at Brugge, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Germany's Black Forest, Strasbourg and the mythical Lorelei Rock, located in the narrow passage of the Rhine Gorge.
