Fantastic ship by
A Traveler from Rutherford, NJ
Sailing date: Aug 2012 Pros:
Everything! Activities; Art; Architecture; Attention to details;Attentive staff
Cons:
Nothing negative to say
The layout accomodates the volume of passengers beautifully with plenty of deck seating around the pool, multiple stations in the buffet eliminate long lines, and ample seating in theatre areas.
The public restrooms were not claustrophobic and kept very clean. The selection of art work is very interesting, and banks of elevators make movement easy.

Fabulous cruise! by
A Traveler from Bowie, MD
Sailing date: Apr 2011 Pros:
The ship is beautiful! And there are PLENTY of activities onboard, including a terrific kids camp!
Cons:
Quite a few things were at an additional charge
This is a gorgeous ship. It feels like you're walking around a small city, not a ship. It's incredible. And there are very many activities onboard, including numerous pools, mini-golf, ice skating, shows, specialty restaurants, shops (including a Coach store), a zip line, a sports court, an arcade, stand-up surfing and boogie boarding (FlowRider), many lounges that play live music, a parade, and a great kids camp that is open every day from morning until 2am.

Allure of the Seas is Excellent by
Ken S. from Raleigh, NC
Sailing date: Dec 2010 Pros:
Largest and newest ship in the world, Doesn't matter how many passengers onboard, never felt crowded, Excellent entertainment, food and amenities
Cons:
Smoking allowed on ocean facing balconies, but all cruise lines allow it.
The ship is new and beyond amazing. Loved the entertainment and features of ship. Very smooth even in windy choppy seas. Book a suite if you can afford it and you'll be exponentially more glad you did. Can't say enough about this amazing ship.

Beautifully manufactured ship by
Caribbean cruiser from Washington DC
Sailing date: Aug 2012 Pros:
Plenty of fun activities for guests
Cons:
Long lines to see the shows
Allure of the Seas is a wonderfully manufactured ship with a lot of distinctive features (e.g. Promenade, Boardwalk/Aqua theater, Central Park, various beautiful lounges, various pools, jetted tubs, sport activities, and countless restaurants) that set it apart from other ships I've been on. It also offers numerous great shows, tons of live music and entertaniment. However, the eating arrangments and stateroom accomodations that it provides are somewhat inferior to those usually offered on other ships (e.g. Carnival Liberty/ valor). The main hall (Windjammer) for breakfast and lunch is usually very crowded with inadequate space to seat their guests. Many people roam the food court in search of an available seat. The meal choices are also more limited. It does not offer guests the option of having their food freshly made for order by cooks. The staterooms are also smaller, and crammed together, as if they were built to maximize the amount ofpeople they can packed in the ship. All and all, it's a great ship built with an eye for maximizing profits for Royal Caribbean.

A Fantastic Cruise by
Cathie O. from Winter Garden, FL
Sailing date: Sep 2011 Pros:
Beautiful ship, great crew!
Cons:
When it was over........
The ship was beautiful. In fact, upon boarding, you didn't even realize it was a ship! You walk onto this beautiful Royal Promenade with shops and restaurants. Central Park is gorgeous and relaxing. The Boardwalk is fun with lots to do. We were never bored, there is always something to do.
Ship Quality Sparkling clean, tastefully decorated.
Dining/Food I loved the one main dining room. No rotating, I love that. The food and service were outstanding.
Stateroom Quality We had an ocean view balcony. It was beautiful and sparkling clean. The bathroom was a little small.
Ship Staff Quality Welcoming and friendly staff. Very accomadating.
Entertainment & Activities Never a dull moment. Took the cupcake decorating class. What fun!

allure of the seas eastern carribean by
dave from charlotte nc
Sailing date: Jun 2012 Pros:
variety of things to do and number of kids activities
Cons:
traveling with 6000 other people
If you want of cruise that offers everything, see a Play (Chicago) watch first run movies (Madagascar 3), have kids they offer clubs for all ages thru teens that keeps them busy all day and night long and don't mind large crowds and lots of people who's primary purpose seems to be drining and partying all day long, this is the cruise for you. Tip don't get a room on 14 deck or you'll listen to people running on the swim deck all night long. Also didn't like you had to pay to eat in the speciality restaurants.

Great Cruise by
Waveney A. from Brooklyn, New York
Sailing date: Aug 2011 Pros:
The different activities and shows
Cons:
making reservations for shows
The ship is huge. Plenty of activities but I didn't like the idea of making reservations before attending the shows. I like the other way better when you just go and sit and wait until show started.
