The ship is uniquely clean (I've never been to a place that is more well kept). Customer service is on a whole different level than anything I have experienced. Vibration from engines are felt on every deck, specially in the dining rooms. Ship Details: Ship Quality Older ship: rust is viewable when you walk down the hallways. Stateroom was very nice. Stateroom Quality No great food. Expected better. Buffet was good. Dining room food was not very good. Limited choices. Specially if allergies. Ship Staff Quality Room stewart was great. Dining staff was good. Dining head was snotty. Entertainment & Activities It's Disney!! Great shows. Overall Rating: About the Reviewer: Age: 30 - 49 Cruise Experience: First cruise Traveler Type: Family w/young children Stateroom Type: Oceanview The trip of a lifetime! by A Traveler from Marlton NJ Sailing date: Dec 2009 Pros: The activities on the ship (There were broadway type shows and musicals, there was a well organized child program to keep your child busy from morning to night if you wish from ages 3 up and a great daycare for the babies) Cons: Nassau This was our absolute favorite vacation and we will be returning next year. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of. The ship had some kind of activity for every age group going on from morning until late night everyday. The ship was so amazing that we stayed on board during our nassau stop. Disneys private island was wonderful and our favorite stop. My husband loved the trip because the food was outstanding. We had a sit down breakfast and dinner everyday in one of three nice places with servers and a buffet lunch. The Pools were heated and my daughter loved the big mickey slide that was held up by his hand. We can't wait until next year to do it all over again! Ship Details: Ship Quality Dining/Food The menu had something for everyone and the food was awesome. Stateroom Quality We had a cat 9 room and it was very roomy surprisingly. There was a queen sized bed, a sleeper sofa and a pull down bed that made bunk beds. The room had 2 bathrooms! My daughter loved the towel animals and candy left for her everynight. Ship Staff Quality The housekeeper came in 2 times a day to clean and prepare our room for the morning and then again for the night. Entertainment & Activities My favorite show was the golden mickey's it was a broadway type performance. I loved the wine tasting, spa, and family activities like bingo. Characters were around for pictures. They had a pirate party that was amazing Children's Programs My daughter loved the kids club and played with the kids a few hours a day giving my husband and I time to do things we enjoyed. They had different activities happening every hour to keep them entertained like bootcamp, facepainting, baking cooking, creating flubber in the lab. This is the best cruise ship that I have ever been on! Cons: Some of the food was a little exotic and I did not know what I was eating. We enjoyed ourselves emincely. This was such a fantastic cruise. Everything was great. The dinner food was so exotic. The shows were great, the best servers, waiters, hostesses and Castaway Cay was the most beautiful island ever. I'm ready to go back as soon as I can. I loved it! If you ever want to go on a cruise, take Disney. You will not be disappointed. Ship Details: Ship Quality Outstanding Dining/Food I was not familiar with some of the dinner selections. Stateroom Quality The stateroom was gorgeous and we had an inside cabin with no porthole. It was bigger and better then some ships that I have been on with a porthole. There were two bathrooms in the room. One with a toilet and a sink and one with a shower and a sink. Ship Staff Quality The best staff ever. Entertainment & Activities The best shows ever. Cons: Food We the grandparents took two grandchildren (ages 4&5). They had the best time. Ice cream everyday. Ship Details: Ship Quality Always making us clean our hands. We packed too much stuff, which was a problem for a cruise ship.....not muich cabin room. The staff in the dinner dining hall was unbelieveable. They went well above and beyond. Ship Details: Ship Quality Great ship. Easy to walk around. Rarely felt like we were moving at all. Dining/Food Dinner was superb. The rest of the food was only slightly above average. Stateroom Quality Didnt realize how small these rooms were, but they worked. should have brought much less stuff Ship Staff Quality Everyone was helpful and the wait staff for dinner was AWESOME Children's Programs It looked like there were many options for children, but my oldest daughter was more interested in being with us. She had fun when in the camp, but chose us instead of there. The nursery was booked so we did not get to experience it. Disney does a good job of keeping the amenities top notch. The ship is always clean from top to bottom, and the recent updates to the fitness center is an added bonus!
